Every year RAM Enterprise selects one outstanding individual to honor with the “Erv Reeves Award”. This award is presented to the RAM Team Member who shows the most dedication, desire, service, teamwork, and commitment, and constantly goes above and beyond the call of duty. This team member embodies our core values of thinking like an owner, caring for others, and doing whatever it takes. We want to congratulate all those nominated by their peers for this award. The nominees were; Laila Miguel, Rae Ann Fortune, Calvin Kimsey, Paul Barris, Chelsea Marks, and Lenny Dodson. This month, we awarded the 2023 Erv Reeves Award to Chelsea Marks.
“Chelsea Marks has been employed at RAM Enterprise for nearly three years, She started as a safety rep and was promoted to safety superintendent on 11/18/2022. Chelsea’s Working Genius is Tenacity and Enablement, which makes her drive to complete tasks and meet goals. She has been a driving force of RAM’s very successful safety culture and has reduced RAM’s incident mode and frequency rate each year of her employment. Chelsea has 6 safety professionals who report to her, and she sets clear expectations and follows up with each of them to help them reach their fullest potential. For me, her strongest skill is leading pre-job FRA’s (Formal Risk Assessments) and incident investigations (I-CAM’s). She is well-versed in MSHA rules and regulations. She is always on call and willing to do whatever it takes to make RAM safety her priority. In short, she is RAM’s MVP.”
Congratulations Chelsea, on being chosen for this monumental award and for being an exceptional employee!
