The deterioration of surfaces is a very real problem in mining. Wear can be the result of impact, erosion, metal-to-metal contact, abrasion, oxidation, corrosion, or a combination of several of these factors. The costs associated with mitigating the effects of wear and abrasion can be quite high, and can include both the cost of component replacement as well as downtime and lost productivity. RAM’s trained specialists can help you select the correct products for your toughest applications. We can design and custom fabricate wear plates that perfectly fit your equipment, including:
- Crusher, Tub and Tub Grinder Liners
- Bottoms and Liners for Buckets and Dippers
- Dozer Blade Skins
- Truck Bed Liners
- Chute Liners
- Scraper Push Pads
RAM Enterprise uses tough tempered alloy and nickel-chrome plates to stand up to extreme wear. These products offer exceptional toughness, ductility, weldability and hardness as compared to T1 type abrasion grades, with optimum resistance to gouging abrasion under severe impact.
- Tumble bar style liners cause material to tumble instead of slide, which reduces wear during material discharge. Tumble bars are made from AR 400 or AR 500 premium wear plate in thicknesses of 1/2" to 2” or more, depending on the application.
- Flat and formed liners are ideal for extreme abrasion and high impact applications.
- Waffle style liners are about 40% lighter than solid plate liners, with minimal reduction in service life.
