RAM History
RAM began its operation in 1991 by buying six loads of used conveyor belt, which were to be resold in the bulk material handling market.  The company was founded by Richard A. Milroy, Jr., and he was soon joined by his brother David Milroy, RAM’s first employee.  Since that simple beginning, RAM Enterprise has grown to over 200 employees and is now a diversified company with manufacturing facilities in Portland, Oregon, and service centers located throughout the Western United States that serve the mining, aggregate, and power plant maintenance industries.  Our mission is simple, to provide the highest quality products and services available to the markets we serve.  We fulfill this mission by hiring and retaining the most knowledgeable and experienced staff possible, and by offering the highest quality bulk material handling systems and components, rubber products, wear and abrasion products, and maintenance services.

In 1995, we recognized our customer’s need for maintenance support and formed our Process Maintenance Division. This versatile group specializes in down-day support, structural fabrication and welding, pump rebuilding, crusher and mill relining, process equipment decommissioning and demolition, pipefitting, and complete conveyor system maintenance.

To help our customers meet their ever-growing needs for containment products and special coatings, as well as to help them comply with increased environmental regulation, RAM Enterprise formed our Construction Services Division in 2003. This group specializes in industrial coatings and turnkey construction projects.

In 2006, RAM started our Arizona operations and we now have facilities in Henderson, NV, Kingman, Payson and Phoenix Arizona.  We continue to look at new markets and are poised to open several new service centers in the Western United States.
